With over 25 years of experience in the towing and roadside assistance industry, John Hoffman brings a unique and diverse background that sets him apart. His journey began in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he developed discipline, a commitment to service, and a strong work ethic that he carries into every aspect of the business today. After his military service, he worked with the Department of Homeland Security and later as a security contractor in Iraq and Afghanistan, gaining invaluable experience in high-pressure, challenging environments. During his 10 years in Afghanistan, he also honed his skills as a gunsmith, adding to his deep technical expertise.

Beyond his time overseas, he’s worked as a longshoreman, learning the logistics and operations side of large-scale transportation, which directly informs his ability to manage complex towing and transport jobs. His time in these various fields has given him a versatile skill set, allowing him to approach the towing industry with a unique perspective.

In addition to his professional career, he is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA, with experience as an actor and a film stunt driver. His work in film, particularly as a precision driver, has refined his handling of vehicles in difficult conditions—skills that translate seamlessly into his ability to handle towing jobs with care and precision.
